Have you ever wished you could change your past? Although we can't change the events, we can change how we interpret and react to them.  Essentially this provides the ability to break unhealthy patterns that have led to unhappiness, distress or feeling stuck.
My goal is to make my office a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment where clients are encouraged toward growth and awareness.  My therapeutic approach is direct and honest which I hope will encourage clients to be more direct and honest with themselves to help them live their fullest life.
I work with all composition of families and couples as well as individuals who are experiencing a wide variety of challenges including depression, life changes, sexual abuse, parenting and school issues.  I really enjoy helping couples reconnect by assisting in conflict resolution through a better understanding of themselves and each other.
I have been trained for eight years in Gestalt Theory and Therapy. In this approach, the relationship built between us in session brings insight into relationships outside of therapy. It can act as a type of mirror that reflects what is happening in your life.  Sessions may also be experiential, meaning we experiment with solutions or different approaches to issues that arise in therapy. Through this process an awareness of how you hold yourself back from creating a more  meaningful life will develop and along with the skills to remove those roadblocks.
